Materials

Chosen once, kept for good.

Carbon for strength without weight. Brass for grip and patina. Hardwood for warmth against skin. Leather to protect all three.

The shaft carries load without carrying weight. Its weave stays visible — structure as surface, not decoration.

Machined brass

CNC-turned, hand-finished

Machined brass

Collars and caps are turned from solid brass, knurled for grip, and left to patina with use.

Oiled hardwood

Kiln-dried, hand-oiled

Oiled hardwood

Each bead is cut from dense hardwood and finished by hand, so grain reads differently on every one.

Full-grain leather

Forest green, vegetable-tanned

The carry pouch softens rather than wears out, taking the shape of the tool it protects.

Care

Wipe the beads. Let the brass age.

A dry cloth is enough for daily use. Re-oil the hardwood once or twice a year with any food-safe finish.

Brass will darken where you hold it. That is the intended finish — the record of use rather than the loss of it.
